The SOP (Soul-Pop) girl from the Netherlands, that`s how Pam Feather (24) describes herself. Deservedly: as a young girl she covered songs from Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin. On her debut album Feather Tales she brings a catchy mix of Jazz, Soul and a hint of singer-songwriter, beacause Pam is never without her guitar.

In the latest edition of NL10 magazine (a Dutch Lifestyle magazine based in Rotterdam) you will find a great article about Pam Feather. In this article once again the comparison between Pam and Beyonce is made. Of course Pam explains that she makes completely different music, besides that it is a little bit to early to make any comparison. But of course it is on honour. You can find the latest NL10 on almost every corner, school, kiosk etc. in Rotterdam.

In Dutch magazine Business Entertainment you could find a great article about Pam Feather and her debut album Feather Tales. Business Entertainment says that although Pam is hearingly inspired by Aretha Franklin and Marvin Gaye she managed to create her own unique Soul-sound on Feather Tales.

A fantastic voice, catchy songs and a great stage precense; Pam Feather has everything to become the new souldiva in the Netherlands. The singer-songwriter from Rotterdam learned to play the guitar by herself as a teenager. She was seen occasionally on diverse talent nights and solo performances in and around Rotterdam. After she met the producers/managers of Artistik, things started going upwords. Nowadays you will find Feather playing mostly with her 6 headed band and her first CD Feather Tales is a fact. The album sounds very mature and has many strong songs with a lovely `feel-good` sound, that reminds of the good old Motown days. Because of her honest melodic songs and natural appearance, you could easily call Pam the Dutch Alicia Keys. You should judge for yourself, because this year she makes her debut on the North Sea Jazz Festival.

Een fantastische stem, aanstekelijke songs en een ontwapende podiumpersoonlijkheid; Pam Feather heeft alles in zich om dé nieuwe souldiva van Nederland te worden. De Rotterdamse singer-songwriter leerde zichzelf als tiener gitaar spelen. Al snel liep ze diverse talentenjachten af. Wanneer ze de producers/managers van Artistik tegen het lijf loopt gaat het balletje rollen. Inmiddels heeft Feather een zeskoppige band om zich heen verzameld en is haar eerste CD Feather Tales uit.
